They are indispensable cogs in the entire gear of Imaginarius – International Festival of Street Theatre of Santa Maria da Feira. They are the ones who welcome, inform and support artists and spectators. They are the ones who take the lead in contacting with various audiences. They are the Imaginarius Participa 2023 volunteers. Until 31 March, registration is open for this volunteering programme.
In the last edition, 132 volunteers were part of the multidisciplinary team of Imaginarius Participa, a unique opportunity that is now reopening to all those who wish to experience and feel the festival in its essence, but also to expand their network of contacts with the artistic world and, at the same time, invest on their personal and professional enrichment.
Aged 16 or over, proactive, motivated, and available to embrace this project of international scope is the profile of the Imaginarius volunteer, whose duties are based on three main areas: guiding and providing information to the public, supporting production and supporting the coordination of volunteer work.
Availability, motivation and experience are relevant criteria in the Imaginarius Participa selection process, which will take place in the weeks following the close of registration. All selected volunteers will benefit from free training, food and the Imaginarius Participa Kit and, in applicable situations, a travel and accommodation allowance.

The Dream is the theme of this edition of Imaginarius – International Street Theatre Festival, which, from 25 to 28 May, will turn Santa Maria da Feira into a true and unique stage of experiences.
