The creation will be a symbiosis between inhabitants and artists who, in workshops, between January and April, will develop the performance according to the guidelines of the project’s written text, taking into account the territories and themes of the festivals.
The artistic direction of the co-creation between Santa Maria da Feira and Joué-Lès-Tours, for the festivals Imaginarius and Années Joué, was involved in the writing residence at the 37ème Parallèle from 19th to 23rd November and at the Imaginarius Creation Centre from 26th to 30th November. The performance will have its premier at Imaginarius on the 29th and 30th May and at Les Années Joué on June 5th 2020.

The co-creation will explore the theme “Myth(s)” of Imaginarius – International Street Theatre Festival, and the theme “Aux Fils de la Vie” of the Street Arts Festival Les Années Joué.
Nicolas Leconte, Franck Mouget, Quentin Police (France) and Telmo Ferreira, a Santa Maria da Feira artist, accompanied by Emanuel Botelho, Mónica Cadete and Pedro Santos (Portugal), composed the artistic direction.
