Does the future of humanity boil down to brain activity devoid of any bodily component? BRAIN MUSIC is an installation using an EEG (electroencephalography) helmet, free software processing, a video projector and a sound amplification, where the meditating artist’s brain waves are translated into sound and visual waves. Under the appearance of a deep bodily inactivity, the performer makes use of his whole organism, reconciling body and mind, to create the favourable conditions to the emergence of a musicality.
