Cães de Rua is an interdisciplinary creation that comprises theatre, dance, aerial acrobatics and voice, that transports you to the odyssey of man drunk on street living.
This performance contemplates a neglected minority of society:  one’s failure to assist others. It dictates the importance of the transmutation of our consciousness in relation to others, diagnosing the extermination of the human hierarchy in which we live. It is fundamentally a direct approach to what we fear the most, after death: survival!

Audience: two classes of students that participated in the street arts project

Marking the end of the first phase of the residency at the Creation Centre, Sérgio Conceição hosts two classes of the Basic School of S. João de Ver, where he teaches. After the presentation of an excerpt from the performance, there will be a brief moment of sharing about the framing, the inspirations and the methods of constructing the character.
