ABOUT SKRYF

Skryf the sand writer advances,
Leaving a stream of letters behind.
Skryf refers to the fact that everything is transitory.
An almost irrelevant pile of sand creates the magic of the word.
Human beings, nature and the passage of time are responsible for the disintegration of the word.
Sometimes very quickly, other times very slowly.
Like sand between one’s fingers…

Skryf’s writing process

Skryf writes a text with sand. From a small manipulated opening, the sand flows very slowly and places the text, letter by letter, on the floor. While the machine is writing a letter, the machine protects that part and so on. The written text will be affected by time and audience and will disappear, slowly, very slowly.

Skryf can write a long text on a street or path. The text can include one word or an entire story and varies between large and small letters.
