The Call for Support for Local Creation opens the challenge to local associations and companies, as well as independent artists, born/resident in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, to submit applications, individually or collectively, that can address public space in its most diverse perceptions, testing formats and models, aiming to build new artistic identities and privileging, above all, the dialogue between contemporary artistic creation and the cultural and natural heritage of the region.
Within the scope of this Call, two creations will be supported, whose projects are to premiere in 2024 at Imaginarius – International Street Theatre Festival, which will take place between 23 and 26 May 2024. The 23rd edition has “Freedom” as its theme.
