“Sabores Imaginarius” stimulate the creativity of Feira’s restaurants

The application period for the official “Sabores Imaginarius 2023” restaurants is running until 7 March. Creativity and innovation can also be served at the table and, in this vein, Imaginarius – International Street Theatre Festival once again challenges restaurants to exalt their art, using Feira’s endogenous and seasonal products, and present a menu that complete the experience lived by the Imaginarius public from 25 to 28 May.

The “Sabores Imaginarius” Call is open to the participation of all catering establishments in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, and those selected will benefit from a tourist and gastronomic promotion campaign on the Municipality’s various digital platforms, as part of the 22nd edition of the festival.

Santa Maria da Feira is a region with a markedly cultural character, with a millennial legacy that it expresses and shares through gastronomy associated with a creative side, the involvement and cultural participation of communities, and an authentic identity that combines, in perfect symbiosis, tradition and innovation, proudly bearing the UNESCO seal of Creative City of Gastronomy.

The applications submitted will be evaluated according to the concept of creative, ethnic, sustainable and signature gastronomy, the use of local and seasonal products, and creativity in cooking and serving.

Those interested in participating in this edition of “Sabores Imaginarius” should send their applications to the Tourism Office, via email gab.turismo@cm-feira.pt, until 23:59 on 7 March. Those selected will be announced on 11 March on the Municipality’s social networks and on the official website of the Imaginarius Festival. In this edition, a special diploma will also be awarded to the restaurant most voted by the public, through an online platform created for this purpose and to be published in due course.

For more information, interested parties should contact the Tourism Office of the City Council, through the numbers 256 370 802 or 967 211 247 | 964563642 or consult the rules of participation available here.
