The ICC is a workspace dedicated to creation, with a strong focus on hosting artistic residency projects. It consists of three independent buildings interconnected by a square: the Main Building, the Blackbox and the House.
In addition to these, it has two complementary spaces: the António Lamoso Cine-Theatre as a reception space and the Warehouse to support workshop-related construction needs.
Central building
It is the central building and is divided into three sections:
Office (66m2) – private area, not rentable to third parties, hosting the Executive Management, Creative Management and Communication teams.
Hall (76m2 | approx. 6m ceiling height) – multipurpose space to host actions complementary to the creation processes, such as talks, meetings, exhibitions, among others.
Lounge– living and work area, complementary to the House and Blackbox areas.
House
This building consists of:
Two rooms, with capacity for four people, properly equipped with lockers for storing personal belongings;
Furnished kitchen;
Two changing rooms, one female and one male and three bathrooms – female, male and mixed for people with reduced mobility.
Square
The open-air square (total uncovered area 684m2) connects the three buildings. At the entrance to the square, in front of the Central Building, an area with a stepped slope forms a small amphitheater (344m2).
BlackBox
The BlackBox (119m2 in area | between 3 and 6m in height) is meant for creation and rehearsals, which does not include the option of an auditorium.
Includes technical sound and lighting equipment, available upon prior request and subject to the respective usage regulations.
