{"id":5346,"date":"2019-05-08T18:00:56","date_gmt":"2019-05-08T17:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.imaginarius.pt\/mais-imaginarius-presents-new-artistic-identities\/"},"modified":"2019-05-08T18:15:46","modified_gmt":"2019-05-08T17:15:46","slug":"mais-imaginarius-presents-new-artistic-identities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imaginarius.pt\/en\/mais-imaginarius-presents-new-artistic-identities\/","title":{"rendered":"More Imaginarius presents new artistic identities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More than 180 applications from 40 different nationalities in seven artistic disciplines have been submitted this year to Mais Imaginarius, an artistic creations competition that opens the doors of the Imaginarius Festival to emerging artists who want to showcase their work, testing formats and models, towards the construction of new artistic identities.<\/p>\n<p>From circus to the theatre, from performance to multidisciplinary, from music to dance, to digital art, intervention and installation, there are several artistic disciplines among the 20 selected shows that will take place between 23 and 25 May in the public space of the historical centre of Santa Maria da Feira, but also at the L\u00f3ios Museum, the Municipal Market and the Mill House.<\/p>\n<p>All these shows will have their Portuguese premiere at the Imaginarius Festival and come from all over the world \u2013 Australia, Belgium, Slovakia, Spain, France, Italy, UK and also the host country, Portugal \u2013 ensuring diversity, but also innovation, irreverence and creativity .The jury of the 2019 Mais Imaginarius is made up of F\u00e1tima Lambert, professor at Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico do Porto, ESE \u2013 UTC \u2013 Cultural and Social Studies, Isabel Bezelga, professor of the Department of Arts of the University of \u00c9vora, Valdemar Cruz, cultural journalist and coordinator Jos\u00e9 Prata, architect and professor responsible for SA \/ ESMAE-IPP and associate professor of the artistic and scientific area of production and music technologies of ESMAE \/ IPP, and Stine Polke-Pedersen, cultural consultant and partner at PASSAGE \u2013 International Street Theatre Festival in Helsing\u00f8r, Denmark.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>More than 180 applications from 40 different nationalities in seven artistic disciplines have been submitted this year to Mais Imaginarius, an artistic creations competition that opens the doors of the Imaginarius Festival to emerging artists who want to showcase their work, testing formats and models, towards the construction of new artistic identities.
