Between music, machines and bodies in friction, a mechanical trance takes hold, where nothing functions in a fully predictable way. Two musicians and a machinist activate an unstable sonic universe, accompanied by an automatic drummer that seems to take on a life of its own. Blues rock emerges as raw, repetitive and hypnotic material, guiding the audience through a sensory experience where error, breakdown and deviation are part of the game.

In this performance, the relationship between humans and machines is anything but functional or sterile. Gears grind, automatisms fail, objects age, persist and resist. The machines are fragile, temperamental and poetic, reflecting those who build them and those who activate them. They are not futuristic, they are lived in, marked by use, wear and improvisation.

Between sound, movement and delirious sonic images, a ritual is constructed where technology and emotion contaminate one another. B-O-M! transforms the public space into a place of play and undisciplined celebration, where continuing to play, to spin and to vibrate becomes an act of resistance. An imperfect mechanism that, like the blues, never closes, it simply waits for the next chorus.
