Communication is always a fragile territory. Between closeness and distance, construction and separation, Isla of Flightless Birds creates a space where coexistence is constantly put to the test. Two performers share the same place and turn it into a sensitive field of negotiation, where every decision alters the balance of the relationship.

In an initially empty space, a self-supporting Chinese pole begins to rise, sustained solely by risk and collective action. As the bond strengthens, the space gains structure, height and complexity, revealing a language built through attempts, errors and adjustments. But, as in any relationship, separation draws near. What was raised begins to unravel and the space returns to emptiness, now marked by the memory of what took place there.

Isla of Flightless Birds proposes a shifting landscape of coexistence and instability, where fragility does not appear as a flaw, but as a condition for imagining possible ways of being together.
