MAIS IMAGINARIUS
There are situations that provoke laughter and discomfort at the same time. An unstable territory where the familiar becomes strange and the strange ceases to be the exception. Two figures move closer and apart, bound in a relationship made of fragile complicities, repeated gestures and small failures that expose what is usually concealed.
Time oscillates between lightness and tension, humour and shadow. References to vaudeville, clowning and slapstick run through the action, not as nostalgia, but as devices to reveal contemporary frictions. Narratives appear in fragments and quickly dissolve, like thoughts that never fully take shape, exposing ambiguous zones, contradictory impulses and identities in imbalance.
In this physical game, laughter does not resolve, it intensifies. Instability becomes the driving force, and discomfort is transformed into material for encounter. SKUMO inhabits this threshold where the city, the artist and the audience’s gaze intersect, affirming public space as a site of exposure, tension and collective recognition.
