Installed on the steps of the amphitheatre, this bronze sculpture pays tribute to Fado das Fogaceiras, composed by Paulo Sá, evoking one of the symbolic expressions associated with the Festa das Fogaceiras.

Celebrated annually on 20 January, a municipal holiday, the festival centres on the Fogaça, a sacred offering and votive gesture to Saint Sebastian, in gratitude for the grace believed to have spared the people of Santa Maria da Feira from plague, death and war in medieval times.
