In a very near future, humans stopped believing in their essence and deposited all their wisdom in machines and artificial intelligence systems. Genetic tissue mixed with cybernetic tissue and the evolution of our species continued in a context of survival and adaptation. Dendryx is now the most common name for our subdivision and defines “Humans” as a “myth of the past”.

Energy is essential to survival and life is one step away from a…battery! By salvaging technological garbage, they select the relevant equipment and investigate their function/relationship with the human, traveling through the memories of the past and involving the public in a universe so private, so familiar and so true.

In a poetic vision, the audience is invited to watch a day in the daily life of this reality and reflect on the current state of the planet, on key issues such as environmental sustainability and human relations, with images of historical events of our time and testimonies from the community.

This artistic and community project started in 2018, in Malta – European Capital of Culture, under the Orfeo and Majnun Project Programme and ends with this creation. A proposal by artist Jeanneth Vieira that integrates community participation in a multidisciplinary show that combines theatre/performance, audiovisuals and sound design.
