EM REDE [PT]

The collective creation – EM REDE – forms an immersive exhibition, in the center of the city, as a result of the challenge launched by the municipality to students/families in the municipality, within the scope of the Family Day celebrations.

This is a community creation, made up of interconnected pieces, full of stories, learning, conviviality, creativity and smiles, forming a suspended blanket of color.

The use of yarn, crochet, wool… is intended to perpetuate family ties, their essence and identity. Reviving ancestral techniques and manuals is a way of connecting with each other, of telling and perpetuating our history, at the same time that, metaphorically and poetically, we think about the human relationships of TODAY.

We are connected, connected and interconnected in a NETWORK, in this digital era we live in, which makes us think: are we ON or OFF?

In the end, we will always be ON THE NETWORK and ON THE NETWORK.

With sustainability concerns, the “Caça Sonhos” pieces built in Imaginarius 2022 are reused and transformed for this edition, keeping DREAMS alive and (re)building new ones.
