Imaginarius aims to be, more and more, a plural, open and universal festival, investing on the availability of tools to support accessibility, and guaranteeing conditions for the enjoyment of its programme in a broader way. The Imaginarius Accessible programme once again takes into account some tools to improve the conditions of access to the planned activities, within the scope of the festival’s programme.
PORTUGUESE SIGN LANGUAGE
The festival’s programme will be available in this website with PSL. The shows Reencontros (II), Viagem de Memórias and William Shake(this)pear, which will have their world premiere at the festival, will have interpretation in PSL.
Sérgio Conceição’s multidisciplinary creation will have an audio-description service for the visually impaired.
The a summarised version of the festival’s programme will be available in braille.
Ensuring the enhancement of information regarding accessibility, two guided visits to the festival venue are planned, with practical information on accessible routes and activities. The visits will be interpreted in PSL.

The festival venue will include a number of preferential visibility spaces for people with conditioned mobility. In previous editions, spaces of preferential visibility for conditioned mobility have already been identified. However, in order to optimize the quality of this service, this edition will feature permanent platforms with preferential visibility for conditioned mobility in various locations, identified in the programme leaflet with a specific icon: Gaspar Moreira Square, Mill House, Municipal Swimming Pool and Municipal Library.
